A passionate recovery-focused professional, Katrina has a long-standing career in mental health and disability, with decades of experience empowering individuals to navigate their recovery journey with confidence and support.
She specialises in psychosocial recovery, service coordination, and trauma-informed practice, ensuring people with complex needs receive the right supports to build independence and well-being.
Katrina has worked across a range of roles, including Mental Health Practice Advisor, Recovery Guide, and Service Coordinator, where she has led teams, developed training programs, and designed recovery-oriented services. She firmly believes that “it takes a village” and takes a collaborative approach to support coordination and recovery coaching, working closely with participants, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the right supports are in place.
With expertise in crisis planning, safeguarding, and capacity building, Katrina is committed to helping participants develop meaningful goals and access the right services to support their recovery journey. Drawing from her lived experience as a carer, she understands the challenges families face and brings a compassionate, person-centred approach to her work. She believes in continuous learning and professional development, staying up to date with best practices to deliver high-quality, recovery-oriented support.
